Marion attracting lots of interest (Miami Herald)

With Shawn Marion and the Heat expected to resume contract talks shortly, several teams -- including the Clippers and Golden State -- have expressed interest in acquiring him. Rita Dry MANTACHIE - Rita Dry, 49, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. A Lee County native, she was born May 10, 1959, to C.A. and Betty McGlofin Davidson. She was employed at Belden Foam for 11 years. She was a Baptist. She loved gardening, flowers and crocheting.

Workers could cross on dam if bridge closes (Keokuk Daily Gate City)

Youngsters throw sandbags into an endloader at the Roquette America Inc. plant along the riverfront in Keokuk. The sandbags were trucked to the floodwall protecting the plant and the city's sewage treatment plant.
